A long maxi skirt was the perfect piece for my trip to Thailand. It’s versatile, light weight, and comes in handy when visiting the Temples (before entering, your legs and shoulders must be covered in showing respect). Today we are visiting the Grand Palace. We ventured from our hotel and walked to the closet pier to catch a long tail boat. Due to walking up and down the streets of Bangkok and jumping in and out of boats, knotting my long maxi skirt was the best idea. Not only does it work with my adventurous day at the palace, but I love how the long and knotted detail gave a simple twist on the conventional way to wear a basic black maxi skirt.
